Monday: Hot one today. 90+, time for us to start thinking about getting on the road again. Can’t believe we have two weeks left in this beautiful part of the country. I think we did a good job of seeing and enjoying most of it.
Of course Monday is trash day. seen a few birds
a few coyotes
these signs do not apply to all…. filled up the back of the truck with about a dozen garbage bags and other stuff!
Had to put the A/C on when we got home. suppose to be cooler tomorrow.
Tuesday: very windy last night. the winds started at about 12:30am and continued until 3:30am, we had our windows open so lots of noise. the winds continued all day and night. Winder is back. Our job today was to remove stickers on two Law Enforcement vehicles that will be sent to auction.
we also have to remove all radios etc from the vehicles. We assume this will be our job until we leave.. it could take us days to complete. thought we needed a bit of BBQ for dinner. went to Porkys in Needles. It was not worth a pic of the food. It was pretty uneventful food. but we have been wanting to try it so….
Wednesday: back to stripping the vehicles. did not accomplish the entire job as we could not get the radio out of one car. took us all day to finish stripping off decals, removing radios, lights etc and cleaning. they actually look pretty good. a few more things and a good wash and they will be ready for the auction.
Our final weekend in this area will be in Lake Havasu City with all of the spring breakers. we will head out tomorrow after a game of golf. got to try out my new shoes.
Okay, what did you use to get the stickers off?
ReplyDeletewe used an eraser wheel on a drill. they are made to take of stickers. it can be bought at a NAPA or Carquest or any car repair retail store.
