Sunday we went to hit some golf balls at the driving range in Needles. Eric did very well. I on the other hand did very bad. Not sure what my issue was, but I kept whiffing or hitting the ground! afterwards I went to purchase a new golf glove! hope that will do the trick..
Monday we headed to Grapevine Canyon. After we began walking I remembered that we had been there before on our 2008 Thanksgiving trip. Eric claims to have told me that earlier in the day but… either I did not hear him or did not listen to him. It was a great little hike with great boulders and p

on to Katherine Landing to check it out. we have been looking at going to this place for quite awhile, the internet does not give too much info so we were willing to pay to get in and see what it was all about. Well since it was Presidents Day it was free to get in!

We made reservations to go camping in Cottonwood AZ (near Sedona) at Dead Horse Ranch State Park in a cabin for a weekend in March. Plan on making reservations at Katherine Landing for this coming weekend. 2 nights and a Patio boat (pontoon) for under $200! all depends on the weather.
back to work tomorrow…
If you guys like the sunshine, blue skies, wearing shorts...and open water, you might want to stay in Cali a little longer. 12" of snow on it's way today, Sconny is getting hit hard, then the "Polar Vortex" rears it's ugly head again as temps plummet. You can buy Maple Syrup at the store...Just Sayin!
ReplyDeleteOh Steve, we really do like sunshine, blue skies and especially wearing shorts. so sorry you all are having a real winter. the last few have been pretty mild. we are hoping to be home well after syruping season but who knows?
