WinDer

Instead of Winter we have Winder…  this area is known for it very high winds.  When we got home from Vegas there was a dust storm happening.  we could not see downtown Needles from our hill.  The wind blew hard most of the night, rocking the RV once in a while.

this is our mode of transportation while we work:

Wednesday we headed out to work, again it was a bit windy but not too bad. It was trash pick up day.

We did see a herd of burros but they were right off the highway and we could not stop.

However we did see a coyote on the road, coming right at us..

he had run across the road and tried to hide but then came out right near our van..

another wonderful day in the tri-state area.

Thursday: really windy today..  it was hard to stay upright. we began the day by watering the trees.. (right up our alley)

then completed our trash pick up.  we did see 2 more coyotes and 3 wild pigs…  actually got pictures of two of the pigs. much different than the Javalina’s of Texas.

it was very exciting to see the first one alone then later in the afternoon we spotted these two.

Friday: Clean up day.. we began by cleaning the office area, vacuuming, dusting, mopping etc…

then off to our maintenance yard to clean up and prepare the boat for use.. (it would be nice if we could use it)

we also picked up signs to keep in the van so when we come across those that need replacing etc we will have them on hand.

Finally the weekend is here.. the weather has been unusually warm and dry.

Heading to Lake Havasu City for the Balloon fest on Saturday.

  2. Rose, the BB gun only works with squirrles. I have my trusty knife for the pigs... did you forget that we have to use a knife? keep an eye out for them up north!
